It might be too early to call lyrium a lifeform. We know it's organism-like, but not quite what it is. My suspicion is that it's the blood of something. Whatever the Stone is, maybe.
AravEls, with an E. Dalish clans are lead by the elder or hahren, with the keeper occupying a position of respect but not actual leadership. I don't think the Dalish quite trust mages to run shit. Which ... seems quite reasonable, given revelations in Inquisition.

Not a nitpick, but hilariously, a couple of Cassandra's late-game conversations take place on a mezzanine level of the armory that has no stairs up to it. There are stairs up FROM it to a third level, but the only way down is to jump, and the only way to get up there is to be teleported in by a cutscene. What the fuck.
